Business Builds Explained

A Business Build is the unit of work inside EBB. Each build represents one complete business project — from Discovery through Launch Marketing — with its own ebook, assets, and saved progress. This page explains how builds work, how they are allocated, and how to manage your balance.

What is a Business Build?

One Business Build equals one business project inside your workspace. When you start a new build, EBB creates a project that tracks your progress through all eight workflow phases.

Each project stores your Discovery answers, strategic analysis, Blueprint, generated manuscript, cover, publishing files, and business assets. Everything belongs to that single build and reflects the strategy you confirmed along the way.

You can pause at any phase and return later. Your project row on My Business Builds shows your current phase and a Continue action to resume.

When a build is consumed

A Business Build is deducted from your balance when you commit your project — typically after completing Discovery and confirming your plan through the payment step. Until that point, you can explore the early workflow without consuming a build.

Once committed, the project remains on your account regardless of how long you take to finish the remaining phases. Completing all eight phases does not consume additional builds.

Tip Check your available balance on the Billing page before starting a new project. If your balance is zero, you will need to wait for your next monthly allocation or add builds through your plan or referral rewards.

Monthly allocations

Your subscription plan includes a monthly Business Build allocation added to your account on each billing renewal:

Founder Plan — 3 Business Builds per month.
Founder Pro Plan — 25 Business Builds per month.

Unused builds roll over automatically. They accumulate in your available balance until you use them. Your current balance and next allocation date are shown on the Billing page inside the app.

Getting additional builds

There are several ways to increase your available Business Builds beyond your standard monthly allocation:

Upgrade your plan. Moving from Founder to Founder Pro increases your monthly allocation from 3 to 25 builds. Upgrades are handled through the Billing page.

Referral rewards. When someone you refer purchases a plan, you receive bonus Business Builds added to your balance. Referred users may also receive a complimentary build. See the Referral Program documentation for details.

Rollover balance. Builds you do not use in one billing period carry forward. Over time, your balance can grow if you build less frequently than your monthly allocation.

Note Business Build balances are tied to your active subscription. If your subscription ends, refer to the Billing documentation for how your balance and project access are affected.

Managing your projects

Open My Business Builds from the workspace sidebar to see all active projects. Each row displays your project title, a short description, and the current workflow phase.

Select Continue to open the project at your saved phase. To start a new business, create a new build from the same page — provided you have an available build on your balance.
