What you'll learn

This guide explains Phase 7 of every Business Build: Business Assets. You will learn why an ebook alone is not a complete business, how EBB generates supporting materials, and how these assets prepare you for Launch Marketing.

What are Business Assets?

Business Assets is the seventh phase of a Business Build. Creating an ebook is only one part of building a successful digital business. After Publishing produces your finished PDF, this phase generates the supporting materials needed to present, promote, and grow the business around it.

EBB automatically creates a coordinated set of marketing assets — each with a different job, all aligned with the same strategy, audience, and promise you defined from Discovery through Publishing.

Why Business Assets matter

Businesses rarely succeed with a product alone. Readers need a way to discover your ebook, understand its value, and take a next step. Supporting assets help communicate that value, build trust, and provide a consistent experience for potential customers.

Each asset is generated from the business strategy developed throughout the earlier phases — your audience, transformation, positioning, manuscript, cover, and published ebook. That consistency matters: a landing page that promises something different from the book erodes trust; an email sequence that matches the cover and core message reinforces it.

Business Assets turn a finished ebook into a launch-ready business system — the bridge between Publishing and Launch Marketing .

What EBB creates

EBB generates a complete collection of business materials. Each asset serves a different purpose while supporting the same business strategy:

Sales page. A landing page that presents your ebook, explains the promise to your target reader, and gives visitors a clear path to learn more or purchase.

Lead magnet. A complementary PDF guide designed to attract interested readers and introduce them to your topic before they buy the full ebook.

Email sequence. A series of emails that nurture new contacts — building relationship and trust while guiding readers toward your offer over time.

Social media content. Posts you can use to share your message, reach your audience, and drive attention back to your landing page or lead magnet.

Supporting marketing materials. Additional assets such as launch guidance and creator messaging that help you present the business as a coherent package rather than a single file for sale.

Together, these materials form a marketing system — not a random folder of documents. Each piece connects to the same reader, promise, and brand established in earlier phases.

Good to Know Every business asset is generated from the same strategy used to create your ebook. This keeps your messaging, branding and customer experience consistent across every part of your business.

What happens behind the scenes?

EBB uses everything created during Discovery, Opportunity, Blueprint, Writing, Cover & Brand, and Publishing to generate this complete set of business assets. Your topic, audience, transformation, positioning, manuscript, cover, and published ebook all feed into the output.

Every asset remains consistent with the ebook, branding, and business positioning. You review and access the materials in the Business Assets workspace — ready to preview, export, or use as you prepare for launch.

Why this phase is automated

Creating marketing assets manually would normally require significant time and multiple specialist skills — copywriting, page design, email strategy, and social content planning. Many creators finish an ebook but stall because the surrounding business materials never get built.

EBB automates this process so every Business Build includes a complete collection of professionally prepared business materials. You do not need to hire separate help for each asset type or learn several tools before you can present your business.

Automation also preserves alignment. Because assets are generated from the same project data, they stay on message without manual coordination across freelancers or templates.

What you'll have when you finish

By the end of this phase you will have a professionally published ebook, a complete set of supporting business assets, and marketing materials that match your ebook and branding. You will have everything needed to prepare for launch in Launch Marketing .

For the published product these assets promote, see Publishing . For the brand identity they reflect, see Cover & Brand .
